**Job Summary:**
The Auto Dealership Title Clerk is responsible for managing the title and registration process for all vehicles sold by the dealership. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, knowledge of DMV regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure all vehicle titles are processed accurately and in a timely manner, providing excellent service to both customers and dealership staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and process vehicle titles and registration documents in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Verify and ensure accuracy of all vehicle titles, liens, and registration paperwork.
- Prepare and provide all required documentation to the DMV for vehicle registration, title transfers, and dealer reports.
- Resolve any discrepancies related to titles or registrations in coordination with the finance and sales departments.
- Maintain organized records of all title transactions and correspondence.
- Assist customers with title-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on regulations and changes in title laws and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assist in managing and tracking inventory of vehicles in transit and ensure proper documentation is filed.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate processing of vehicle sales.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive or business administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a title clerk, DMV representative, or in a related position is required.
- Knowledge of title processing procedures and DMV regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
