We are seeking a talented, driven Associate Attorney with a passion for family law to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through resolution

· Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs

· Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed

· Client Counseling: Help clients navigate the emotional and legal complexities of family law with empathy and clarity

· Settlement Negotiations: Work to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently, minimizing prolonged litigation

· Maintain regular client communication and provide high-level service

· Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff

· Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies

· Stay informed on developments in Texas family law and related legal trends

Qualifications

· J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas

· Good standing with Texas Bar

· Minimum 3 years of family law experience preferred (clerkships and internships considered)

· Must have courtroom experience, including temporary hearings, motion practice, and trials, with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively and achieve favorable outcomes.

· Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in legal research databases, case management software, and other technology tools that enhance legal practice efficiency

· Strong legal writing and communication skills

· Excellent judgment, ethics, and professionalism

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Board Certification in Family Law or interest in pursuing certification is a plus
