Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience managing litigation files from inception through trial and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with case management from inception to resolution

Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence

Coordinate and manage discovery requests and responses

Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case documents
-
Prepare and organize exhibits, trial notebooks, and other trial materials
-
Conduct fact investigations, witness interviews, and public record research
-
Perform e-filing in state and federal courts
-
Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic)
-
Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
-
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
-
Assist with time entry and billing as required

Utilize legal practice management and document management software (e.g., Tabs, NetDocs)
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a litigation paralegal, specifically in insurance defense or personal injury defense

Experience with case management systems, billing software, and e-filing procedures
-
Proficiency with legal technology tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom support

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a legal team

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
