Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• No call requirements
\n• 16-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratios
\n• Float to other units as needed
\n• 2+ years of nursing experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Must have experience with post cardiovascular surgeries, post stroke patients, and titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
\n• Experience required with Bipaps, utilizing Airvos, and ability to recognize deteriorating patients
\n• Care for post-operative, cardiovascular, neurological, stroke, respiratory, stepdown, and ICU patients
\n• Work with Philips bedside monitors and EPIC EMR system
\n• Black scrubs required, no hoodies permitted
\n• Must be team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
