Celerity designs, builds, services and maintains fiber optics and wireless infrastructure. We are currently looking for a FT Fleet Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of the vehicle and equipment fleet by performing diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repairs as needed. The fleet is a combination of passenger vehicles, medium duty trucks and construction equipment. Celerity provides free health insurance for all full-time employees and a 401k match up to 4% of your salary.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and construction equipment as required to ensure safe
and proper operation and DOT compliance.
• Due to our ERS contracts, it is imperative that we remain cognizant of the readiness
of our fleet and response times to maintain "in service" status.
• Respond to and provide emergency offsite field repairs as needed including potentially after hours.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance such as but not limited to, oil changes, lubrication
of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements, and assorted
maintenance services.
• Recondition and replace assorted parts of construction equipment.
• Operate and test equipment such as aerial lifts, derricks, mini-excavators, hydraulic
operated equipment and generators.
• Perform ANSI inspections on aerial lift devices
• Make recommendations on repairs and maintenance that will require support from
outside vendors.
• Diagnose and make recommendations for problem areas involving significant wear
and tear on the equipment.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs.
• Maintain safe and clean garage bay; keep shelves and workstations neat.
• Keep supervisor and team informed of daily functions assigned and completed.
• Works cooperatively with other departments internally as necessary to maintain
smooth and efficient workplace operations.
• Respond to DVIR identified deficiencies in concert with Fleet Supervisors.
• Safely operate portable vehicle lifting equipment

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of mechanic's experience required
• State inspection experience is a plus
• Experience in operation, repair, and maintenance of construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required. CDL Class A preferred.
• CDL Medical eligibility required.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with Mobile Generators is a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30
PM. This position may require longer hours, emergency response and some weekend work.
Hours may be flexible based on business needs.

Travel
This position may involve daily local travel to jobsites. Occasional overnight travel may also
be required.


Physical and Other Requirements:
This position may require 8-to-10-hour days and flexible hours. Reasonable

This employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds, frequently lift
and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh
more than 100 pounds with assistance.

Working Conditions:
This position works in a warehouse/garage setting, with outdoor exposure during the
workday. Noise levels may be loud at times. This role routinely includes the use of vehicles,
powered or hand operated tools and equipment. Safety is a core value.
