Transactions Associate
Position Overview
The M&A Associate will support the mergers and acquisitions team by conducting detailed financial analysis, performing due diligence, and assisting in the execution of transactions. The role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling and market research to identify potential opportunities and risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the financial health of targets
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders
- Support negotiations and assist in drafting transaction documents
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential acquisition opportunities
- Facilitate communication between various departments involved in the transaction process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Experience in due diligence and market research
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of legal compliance and capital markets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
