· Handle communication with clients and third parties, etc.
· Generate deeds, transfer documents, basic legal documents and correspondence
· Prepare statements of sale and closing disclosures for real estate transactions
· Answer and direct phone calls
· Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
· File pleadings, motions and appellate documents with the court
· Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
· Gather relevant information for transactions and cases from a variety of sources
Required Qualifications:
· Proven work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
· Familiarity with real estate transactions
· Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a law office
· Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
· Adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
