Nambe' is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Store Manager who will play a vital role in elevating our new retail location in Inwood Village! As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth daily operations of the store while fostering a customer-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting and training the sales team, managing inventory processes, and assisting with visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping experience. You will also be tasked with analyzing sales performance and helping to implement strategies that drive traffic and revenue. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management and operations of the store.
  • Support the Store Manager in training and mentoring sales associates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies to meet and exceed financial goals.
  • Help maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment that reflects the Nambe' brand.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management and replenishment tasks.
  • Engage with customers to provide a seamless shopping experience and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights for improvements and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions.
  • Organizational skills with a focus on detail and the ability to multitask.
  • A strong interest in home decor and knowledge of current design trends.
  • Flexible availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in retail management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
