Senior Corporate Attorney – Seattle, WA
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney to join a well-respected full-service law firm in Seattle.

This firm represents a diverse range of sophisticated clients across corporate finance, real estate, land use, construction, and litigation. The position offers a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite) and a manageable 1,720-hour annual billable requirement, promoting strong work-life balance without sacrificing high-caliber work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, finance, and securities compliance.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.

  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

  • Participate in firm meetings, business development, and client engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Washington State Bar.

  • At least 7 years of corporate law experience.

  • Strong background in M&A, corporate governance, finance, and securities.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships; partial or developing book of business welcome.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $175,000 – $300,000, depending on experience and portable business.

  • 1,720 billable-hour target with flexible hybrid schedule (2 days onsite).
