Housing Navigator – Grand Rapids, MI 49503
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a local organization to find a dedicated Housing Navigator to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness. This is a contract-to-hire role with an immediate start.
Position Details:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Assist individuals and families in securing stable housing
-
Build and maintain relationships with landlords to expand housing opportunities

Conduct case management meetings to assess client needs and develop housing plans
-
Connect clients with resources for substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and other supportive programs

Guide clients through the housing application process, ensuring all documentation is complete

Monitor housing stability, conduct wellness checks, and provide ongoing support

Collaborate with community organizations to enhance available services
Qualifications:
-
Experience working with homeless populations, individuals in crisis, and/or those with substance abuse challenges

Strong case management and advocacy skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable communicating with landlords and navigating housing programs
