We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to support manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy taking apart, assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and working directly on machines rather than performing design or office-based engineering work.

The technician will support continuous production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, setting up, and improving automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery and manufacturing equipment following SOPs, layout plans, and blueprints.
• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated components, and electrical/electronic systems into sub-assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies, circuits, and components.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust machines while tracking gauges, meters, valves, temperatures, pressures, and process parameters.
• Support production as a Machine Operator, Production Technician, and Assembly Technician as required.
• Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and document work using the AMMS/CMMS system to ensure equipment uptime and compliance.
• Work closely with engineers and production staff to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
• Follow all safety, PPE, OSHA, and biohazard procedures when working in regulated manufacturing areas.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical or manufacturing technician experience
  OR
• Associate Degree (Technical or Engineering) with 1+ year relevant experience
• Strong mechanical skills with experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, SOPs, and work instructions
• Experience maintaining or repairing production or industrial equipment
