Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated attorney to join our litigation practice group in Lafayette, Indiana. This position offers the chance to work alongside skilled partners, associates, and paralegals on cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, commercial disputes, and general civil litigation. With a focus on growth and development, this role provides a pathway to becoming a partner or shareholder within the firm.

Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in litigation cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, commercial disputes, and civil litigation.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other relevant documents.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials to advocate effectively for clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while managing case files.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by participating in business development efforts.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members and staff.
• Engage in continuing legal education to enhance expertise and skills.• A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, such as personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, or commercial litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana and in good standing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong skills in conducting depositions and drafting legal motions.
• Comprehensive understanding of civil litigation procedures and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and courtroom advocacy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuous development and maintaining high ethical standards.
