We are currently seeking a CNC Setup Specialist to support our growing machining operations.
About Us
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine setup requirements.
- Select and adjust tooling, offsets, workholding, and machine settings to meet exact tolerances.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make any required adjustments before releasing jobs to production.
- Troubleshoot setup and machining concerns to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with programmers and operators to refine processes and reduce variation.
- Maintain an organized, safe work area and strictly follow all safety and quality procedures.

What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a production machining environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T with precision and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of G-code, tooling selection, and machining fundamentals.
- Experience with multiple CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak (programming experience a plus).
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, especially during setup and first-piece runs.
- High attention to detail, process discipline, and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with programmers, operators, and production teams.
