About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to guiding clients through sensitive and complex legal matters, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and related family law proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about client advocacy and has a strong background in family law practice.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and protective orders.
- Provide legal counsel, prepare pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate case records, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures.
- Advocate for clients with professionalism, empathy, and strong negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- 2–7 years of family law experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong courtroom and client advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail and efficiency.
