Associate Attorney - General Defense Litigation
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney specializing in General Defense Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various litigation matters, with a focus on labor law and construction cases, providing quality legal representation and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Assist in trial preparation and attend court hearings as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while adhering to deadlines and court rules.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to general defense, labor law, and construction.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant state.
- 3-5 years of experience in general defense litigation, preferably in labor law and construction.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
