Job Description
As a Production Lead, you will oversee and guide the production staff in various facilities to ensure compliance with production schedules, shipment deadlines, daily productivity targets, and accurate reporting. Your role includes operating production equipment, mixing chemical solutions, driving operational planning, and maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production staff to adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
- Operate production equipment to efficiently fill containers and package chemical solutions.
- Mix liquid chemical solutions using pre-formulated barrels.
- Drive operational planning to achieve product line Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure safe startup procedures for equipment to protect team members.
- Verify availability of raw materials and tools at the start of each shift.
- Conduct hourly quality assurance checks to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and schedules.
- Verify that all team members have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform light maintenance duties as required.
- Maintain, calibrate, and adjust equipment per manufacturing specifications.
- Keep precise daily production records for performance analysis.
- Foster a safety culture in line with company safety policies.
- Perform operator tasks as necessary to meet daily output targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to eliminate safety hazards.
- Manage employee schedules, authorize timecards, and provide training on performance standards and policies.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a Production Operator in injection molding, plastics, or chemical environments.
- Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
- Experience in fast-paced and high-volume work environments.
- Proficiency in operating complex and dangerous machinery.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools and machine operation.

This is a Contract position based out of Conyers, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
