Position Overview:

As a Senior Purchasing Officer, you'll manage the timely purchase of production materials, working closely with teams in project management, production, quality, R&D, and supply chain. You’ll gain valuable insight into our processes while applying industry best practices. Strong communication skills are key to ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and internal teams. This role offers exciting growth opportunities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the entire purchasing process: sourcing materials, negotiating costs, and approving production specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (project management, production, quality, R&D) to meet material needs on time.
• Develop and implement materials planning strategies for smooth operations.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including costs and approvals.
• Review and optimize procurement processes for better efficiency.
• Serve as the main contact for both internal teams and suppliers, communicating in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Ensure materials meet quality standards and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance procurement.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For:

• Higher diploma or equivalent in purchasing or related fields.
• At least 3 years experience with project management experience starting from receiving the brief and inquiry from MKT to sourcing, sample arrangement, cost negotiation, production specification and sample approval.
• Proven experience in materials planning and procurement management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Packaging and factory experience is a plus.
