Associate Attorney – $130,000.00 to $170,000.00/year – Stewart Manor, NY

The Role

Are you a skilled attorney with a strong background in personal injury and medical malpractice? Can you manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced legal environment? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This is a full-time in-office position. Must have a car and be willing to go to court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse medical records and case details.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions and pleadings.
  • Take and defend EBTs (Examinations Before Trial) of defendant doctors.
  • Assist with trial preparation and participate as second chair in trials.
  • Work with paralegals and other support staff to get the job done.

The Person

  • A law degree and bar admission in good standing.
  • 4-9 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills, especially follow-up on tasks, projects and cases.
  • Capable of independently managing case files.
  • Experience in EBTs of defendant doctors and hospital personnel is necessary.
