Aegis is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our client's organization in Libertyville, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
· 5 years of production leadership experience
· Metal manufacturing experience – fabrication, assembly, machining, forming, Press brake, cutting, sawing. They do standard and perforated metal, spiral tooth forming but those are hard to find.
· Solid foundation in continuous improvement principles. 5S is the foundation, root cause, kaizen activity, Gemba walks, etc. Lots of visual management with their KPI’s
· Drive KPI’s with team, especially with safety and quality
Pluses:
· Stamping experience or perforated metal knowledge
· Experience working in a union
· Lean certifications or if someone has a green or black belt, that would be a huge plus
