Experienced CNC Machine Center Set Up Operator
Our client in Fairbury, IL is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as experienced CNC Machine Center Set Up.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision machined parts.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret technical blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to determine production requirements.
- Material Loading: Load raw materials into the CNC machines and set machine parameters according to product specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and perform first-piece inspection procedures.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any machine-related issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Documentation: Document and report any discrepancies in products or machines and suggest improvements for job efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. Great math skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle physical tasks such as placing parts into machines and removing them, as well as good close vision for inspecting parts.
- Communication: Clear communication skills to coordinate with other team members.
