Established (35+ years) Premier Plaintiff Firm Seeking Legal Assistant or Junior Paralegal in Freehold, NJ
An established plaintiff medical malpractice firm based in Freehold, NJ with over 35 years in practice is seeking a tech-savvy Legal Assistant or Junior Paralegal with strong administrative and clerical experience to join their team in-office four days a week with one remote day. This firm is nationally recognized and growing their family law department - they have a fully paperless environment utilizing NEOS and a proprietary AI platform.
Offer:
Salary range: $40,000-$60,000 depending on experience

Qualifications:
Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience
Administrative and clerical experience within a law firm or legal department
Paralegal certificate is a plus
Strong technical proficiency; comfort using multiple digital platforms (NEOS experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to interact professionally with experts, clients, and court personnel
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys on plaintiff medical malpractice cases
Assist with case organization, document management, and scheduling deadlines
Communicate with courts, experts, and clients to ensure smooth case progression
Prepare and proofread legal correspondence, filings, and supporting documents
Maintain accurate and organized digital case files within NEOS and other platforms
Support trial preparation and litigation team needs
