Spa Front Office LMT Job Summary

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for performing duties and tasks that will increase the productivity of our institution. This position will work in a fast-paced environment and must have excellent time management and communication skills.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients, guests, and students in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and perform appointment confirmations via calls or texts.
  • Conduct facility tours to educate clients about services offered at The Spa at Northwest.
  • Respond to and manage client escalations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure a warm, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience for all visitors.
  • Assist with front office staffing coverage and day-to-day coordination as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all student and client interactions.
  • Review and adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Supports staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Front Office Department supervisor.

Experience

  • REQUIRED In-field experience: 2-3 years as a Massage Therapist
  • Previous experience in a leadership/lead/senior role
  • Previous experience working in a spa, medical office, or wellness center


Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the massage therapy field (with diploma, degree, or certificate).
  • Must have a minimum of three years of work experience in the massage therapy field (WITHOUT diploma, degree, or certificate).
  • Successful completion of High School, its equivalent, or a state-authorized examination certificate is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques


License/Certification

  • REQUIRED: Active Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy License


Education:

  • REQUIRED HS Diploma or equivalent
  • PREFERRED Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in the field


Job Type

  • On-Call/Part-Time LMT

Schedule

  • Potential Schedule:
    • M: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    • T: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    • W: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    • Th: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    • F: Additional Hours Available
    • S: Additional Hours Available
    • Sun: Additional Hours Available
  • Evening hours with weekend flexibility
  • Will be based on departmental needs

Salary

  • $23.07/hr
