We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our client’s team in Trenton, NJ.

Position: Maintenance Mechanic – 4th Shift
Location: Trenton, NJ
Pay Rate: $34.25/hour

SHIFTS NEEDED

2nd shift - Mon–Fri - 2pm-10pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, engines, and motors.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using precision tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Inspect, measure, and evaluate parts for wear and dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and related instruments.

• Fabricate and machine replacement parts with lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and welding equipment.

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to support repairs and installations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.

• Monitor inventory levels, order necessary parts, and ensure efficient use of maintenance resources.

• Support training and mentorship of line mechanics and apprentices.

• Adhere to all safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Proficiency with measuring instruments, machine tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documents.

• Physically able to lift, climb, and work in an industrial environment.

• Must pass a medical examination (including X-ray).

• No serious medical conditions that would prevent safe performance of duties.
