Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Assist in achieving departmental targets and objectives.

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance personal and team performance.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in occupational therapy.

• Foster a positive and motivating environment for patients and colleagues.

Experience/Qualifications

• COTA certification and valid state license required for practice.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to industry trends in occupational therapy.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing treatment plans.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong communication skills for educating patients and families.
