Salary: $100K-$150K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney specializing in Personal Injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients who have been injured due to negligence or wrongdoing, and will work to secure fair compensation on their behalf. This role requires a deep understanding of personal injury law and a commitment to advocating for clients' rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in personal injury cases, including negotiating settlements and representing them in court
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues related to personal injury claims
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and explain legal concepts
- Gather and evaluate evidence to build a strong case for clients
- Attend court hearings and trials as necessary
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and experts to strengthen case strategies
- Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and relevant legal precedents
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies
- Experience with various types of personal injury claims, including premises liability, medical malpractice, and product liability
- Proficient in legal research and case management software
