50 employees Non Union metal fab/welding factory that is part of a multi plant/multi location corporation in need of a Engineering Director for their Toledo Ohio location. Must have an engineering or technical degree, may consider associates if strong metal working experience.
Responsible for developing and implementing the engineering strategy that improves manufacturing processes, drive safety, quality and productivity. Companywide this organization is a committed practitioner of Continuous Improvement. Culture of working together and doing whatever it takes is Vital to the corporation and this role. Position reports to a VP of Engineering who is in another state and is NOT a micro manager. This role has a lot of autonomy.
