Discipline Leader Mechanical Engineering - Construction/Architecture/ MEP

$125-155K + Q bonuses

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Leader in Mechanical Engineering to oversee and guide our mechanical engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and support in all phases of project development.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of HVAC, plumbing, fuel, and fire protection systems for construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture and MEP teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Review and approve project designs, specifications, and documentation to maintain high quality and compliance.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for effective design and modeling of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven 10+ years experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for construction, architecture or MEP consulting firms.
  • Strong management skills with experience leading engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of Mission critical, telecom or Data Center experience or understanding of manufacturing equipment
