Job DescriptionCorporate Legal Assistant (M&A Practice Area)

Position: Corporate Legal Assistant Practice Area: Mergers & Acquisitions Location: On-Site Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 + Excellent Benefits

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate Legal Assistant to join a team at a Pittsburgh law firm and support attorneys in the M&A practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all stages of corporate formations and organizations.

  • Support preparation for and closing of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and real estate deals.

  • Maintain corporate records and obtain necessary corporate documentation.

  • Draft, review, and file deeds for real estate transactions.

  • Assist attorneys with corporate governance filings and prepare related tax filings.

  • Initiate and manage all aspects of the dissolution process for for-profit and non-profit corporations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in corporate law, transactional law, or legal assistant role preferred.

  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
