Registered Dental Hygienist | Porters Neck Dentistry | Wilmington, NC
Porters Neck Dentistry is a fee-for-service dental practice focused on esthetics, implants, and sedation dentistry. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist with contagious enthusiasm to join our close-knit team. We value comprehensive care, teamwork, and allowing plenty of time for hygienists to deliver excellent patient care.
Schedule, Part Time -> Full Time
• Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:00am–5:00pm to start
• Plan to add Thursdays within 6–8 months
• Will become full time at 3 days per week
Pay & Compensation
• $45–50 per hour
• Dental benefits for immediate family
• Uniform allowance
• Paid major holidays when they fall on a scheduled workday
• Once full-time:
• 401K with match after one year
• 20 days PTO
• Bonus eligibility
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care
• Perform periodontal assessments and patient education
• Assist with sterilization and operatory turnover as needed
• Cross-train and help other areas of the office when needed
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to support patient care
Requirements
• Active Dental Hygiene license
• Strong attention to detail in treatment and diagnosis
• Positive attitude and excellent chairside manner
• Team-oriented and willing to help where needed
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus, but not required
