Job Title: Litigation Research Analyst – TrialQuest (Legal Services Division)
Location: Remote (West Coast Preferred) with Occasional Travel
Division: TrialQuest, a Subsidiary of U.S. Legal Support
OVERVIEW:
The general duties as a Research Analyst for U.S. Legal Support (TrialQuest) includes assisting in preparing reports and research presentations with supervision from senior research staff. The Research Analyst also supports senior research staff by: setting up and assisting at research exercises, gathering demographic data on jury venues; negotiating with recruiting facilities; developing screening information for research participants; conducting data analysis; creating graphical presentation of quantitative data; and writing summaries of mock deliberation sessions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Locates and reserves research facilities.
- Prepares notification paperwork to supervisors, associates and accounting.
- Observes jury deliberations groups and prepares summaries for consulting team.
- Assist on-site with research projects.
- Coordinate and process necessary paperwork; i.e., confidentiality agreements, screeners, invoices, purchase orders and check requests.
- Perform simple statistical analysis.
- Prepare data summary reports.
- Distribution of deliverables to clients after the research project.
- Prepare reports on venues and verdicts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum B.S. or B.A. in Psychology, Sociology, or other social sciences
- Experience with data analysis; Experience with SPSS preferred
- Proficiency with word-processing programs, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel.
- Familiarity with social science research methodology and statistics
- Highly responsive to feedback
- Willingness to travel on occasion with short notice; willing to work a demanding schedule

- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
