Responsibilities:

Independently manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation matters from inception to resolution.

Prepare detailed legal reports and maintain regular client communications.

Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required.

Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.

Collaborate with team members and contribute to department growth and strategy.

This position is available in our NYC or Huntington office, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Admission to practice law in the State of New York.

In-depth knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation laws and system.

Exceptional writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter with team orientation.

2-5 years of expertise in workers' compensation defense, to join our growing insurance defense firm.

Knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation laws and system, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
