Job Title: Tooling Mechanic
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT Available)
Pay: $21 – $23/hour + Overtime (X1.5 pay)
About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Tooling Mechanic to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing, repairing, and reinstalling pneumatic and mechanical tooling systems used in our production machinery. You’ll work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in production maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, or even automotive/mechanical repair — someone who enjoys taking things apart, fixing them, and putting them back together.
Key Responsibilities:

Remove, disassemble, repair, and reinstall pneumatic and mechanical tooling systems from production machinery.

Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

Read and interpret machine blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Work with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Document work performed and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic, tooling technician, production maintenance tech, or automotive mechanic.

Ability to read and understand machine blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Familiarity with pneumatic systems is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work 1st shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with some overtime as needed.
