About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregiver to join our team in a facility setting. As a caregiver, you will provide essential care and companionship to our patients with their daily needs, ensuring their safety, dignity, and comfort while working closely with nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support, including transfers, walking assistance, and repositioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the patients.
- Monitor and report any physical or emotional changes to the nursing staff.
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures while maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff to deliver excellent resident care.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years caregiving experience or similar preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication, empathy and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
