Fabricator/Machinist - Stone Countertops | Kitchen | Bath | Residential
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stone Countertop Fabricator/Machinist for a leading provider of premium surfaces located in Indianapolis. This full-time, direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in fabricating and machining stone countertops with ogee and bullnose edges for residential kitchens and baths. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of stone materials, fabrication techniques, ability to program G-Code, and precision machining processes.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication Duties:

• Polish, buff, and finish stone surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
• Operate hand tools and polishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply sealants and surface treatments as required.

Machining Duties:

• Cut, shape, and bend stone materials using CNC machines, saws, and other specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and technical drawings.
• Measure and mark materials accurately to ensure precise cuts.
• Maintain and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Programming G-Code

General Duties:

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist with loading/unloading and transporting finished pieces as needed.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in stone countertop fabrication and/or machining.
• Familiarity with granite, quartz, marble, and other natural/engineered stone materials.
• Familiarity with ogee and bullnose edges
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and templates.
• Ability to program G-Code
• Skilled in using hand tools, polishing equipment, and CNC machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
