About Us:
D&A Distribution, LLC d/b/a Strictly E-Cig is one of the largest vape distributors on the East Coast. We specialize in premium products and pride ourselves on operational excellence, compliance, and exceptional service. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Licensing Specialist to join our compliance team in Savannah, GA. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our licensing, tax, and product documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Licensing & Regulatory Filings
- Prepare and submit state license applications and renewals.
- Complete bond applications and manage renewals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state bans and restrictions.
- File excise tax returns.
Compliance & Documentation
- Manage PMTA registration and required documentation.
- Oversee product compliance documentation and internal records.
- Create and maintain up-to-date tax and compliance guides for internal use.
- Coordinate with IT to update and verify tax rules in systems.
Tax Reporting & Communication
- Ensure accurate and timely PACT Act reporting.
- Prepare and file quarterly excise taxes.
- Maintain communication with state regulatory departments and agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field OR 2+ years of experience in licensing, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
- Ability to research and interpret regulatory changes.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: Between $21.00 and $24.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
