We’re looking for a Junior Associate Attorney to join our in-office team. This is an entry-level role designed for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is eager to build a career in personal injury litigation. You’ll work directly under the guidance of the managing partner, gaining hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of personal injury law—from case intake through trial preparation.
This role is ideal for someone with strong research and writing skills, who is detail-oriented, and who is ready to learn the practice of litigation in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $75,000 per year
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities (with training and supervision)
- Draft basic pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare supporting memoranda
- Assist in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials
- Review and organize medical records, police reports, and other key documents
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court staff under attorney supervision
- Use case management software (Clio, SmartAdvocate, Filevine, etc.) to track case progress and deadlines
- Support the managing partner with day-to-day case management tasks
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree and admission (or pending admission) to the [State] Bar
- Up to one year of experience in litigation or a related legal setting (internships/clinics accepted)
- Familiarity with case management software such as Clio, SmartAdvocate, or Filevine preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a litigation practice
