Job DescriptionSalary: $17.50 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
The Childcare Provider position exists to provide safe care, enrichment and social
interaction for the children of Westside, during various events through the calendar
year (ie. Women's Bible Study sessions, volunteer appreciation events, staff
childcare, Youth events). This position may also serve as a backup for Westside
church staff childcare program, as needed throughout the year. This is a seasonal,
part-time role based on the changing needs of the staff according to various events
and does not guarantee a regular, structured schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Ability to provide compassionate care and interaction for small childrenranging in age from infant-kindergarten.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background screen.
- Ability to provide current certification or complete annual First Aid/CP training (provided by Westside Church), within 6 months of hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ASSOCIATED TASKS:
- Childcare 98%
- Provide a safe, healthy and fun environment for children in the Westside Kidsarea of the campus.
- Engage in positive, age-appropriate play, arts and crafts and indoor/outdooractivities in defined play area.
- Ensure proper supervision during meal and snack times.
- Partner with Kids Director and parents to meet the needs of young children.

- Follow all appropriate cleaning and sanitation procedures with childcareroom, toys and equipment
- Ensure childcare classroom is set-up and ready to care for children eachmorning.
