Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) night shift position in an LDRP unit requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, and an IN or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital LDRP unit providing both labor and postpartum couplet care
- 12-hour night shifts required
- Care for laboring patients and postpartum mothers with their newborns
- Orientation is provided prior to shift assignment
- Integrate evidence-based practice in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform patient assessments using collected clinical data and formulate effective nursing diagnoses
- Manage care of patients with acute conditions and provide immediate support, including Basic Life Support, as needed
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions in partnership with patients and the healthcare team
- Compassionate care is expected for patients and their families
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active Indiana RN or compact multi-state license required
- Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Labor and Delivery experience required
