Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-known law firm to find a Legal Assistant with Litigation experience to join their Seattle team! This role involves managing litigation tasks, court filings, billing, calendar coordination, and travel planning in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, memos, and correspondence
- Handle court filings (including e-filing) in Washington State and Federal courts
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange domestic/international travel
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files using systems like iManage
- Track deadlines, support matter management, and assist with client billing
- Prepare expense reports, time entries, check requests, and open new matters
- Collaborate with internal teams, provide overflow support, and assist with reception as needed
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of Washington court rules, litigation procedures, and e-filing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Elite 3E, iManage, Adobe, Concur, and Intapp preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills
- High school diploma required; business school certificate or degree preferred
