Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance Auditor I to support our quality operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and laboratory processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- Conduct batch record reviews and product release activities for site-manufactured materials.
- Prepare documentation for samples submitted to internal and external quality control laboratories.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of internal audits.
- Perform audits of incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct investigations into product quality complaints, non-conformance events, and manufacturing deviations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in operations, engineering, maintenance, safety, and supply chain to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of quality through thorough investigations and actionable solutions.
- Document investigation findings in detailed, timely reports using internal quality systems.
- Initiate and manage service requests related to non-conformance issues.
- Generate and manage quality documentation for operational activities.
- Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.
- Support document retention and archival processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (preferred), Minimum High School Diploma Required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in chemistry or biology is advantageous.
Skills
- Experience in quality assurance, quality auditing, and quality specialist roles (1-4 years).
- Proficiency in quality control, audit, batch record review, and document control.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and inspection processes.
- Experience with CAPA, SOPs, and quality checks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Technical writing experience is highly valued.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
