Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team here at USA Rolls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION!!
Duties:
- Manually setup machine
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and standardized work
- Sets-up lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments
- Verifies settings by measuring positions and adhering to standardized work
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; notate when repairs are needed
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machining role
- Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- MUST BE ABLE TO PROGRAM IN G AND M CODE!!!

THIS IS A 1ST SHIFT POSITION WHICH IS MONDAY-FRIDAY 7:00AM TO 3:00PM
