We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. Your role will involve helping with daily activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, and promoting their independence. Duties: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management - Assist with light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up - Escort clients to appointments, outings, and social activities - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior - Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided Qualifications: - Previous experience in home care or direct support is preferred - Knowledge of resident rights and dementia care is a plus - Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Basic first aid knowledge is required - High school diploma or equivalent is required We offer competitive pay rates and flexible schedules.
