Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in commercial and industrial spaces. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow precise instructions, and the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other high-touch areas
- Remove trash and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Follow specific cleaning checklists and client instructions
- Adhere to all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety guidelines
- Respect and follow facility ground rules as outlined by the company and industry standards
- Work efficiently to complete tasks within the designated time frame
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues, supply needs, or maintenance concerns
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
Ability to work effectively with a partner or team
Reliable and responsible with time management skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, and reaching
Willingness to wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety protocols
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
