Job DescriptionClinical Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Unit

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through evidence-based nursing practices
- Perform age-specific patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Administer medications and treatments using EPIC electronic medical records
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Serve as a patient advocate and provide patient/family education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP as needed)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
