Responsibilities:
- Telephone communication to an existing client database aiming to sale conference registrations or award nominations
- Update information in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) software, including account detail and sales history data
- Create new opportunities with existing customers by pitching relevant products or services
- Act proactively to exceed customer expectations and secure client loyalty
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar sales telephone customer communication position or in an educational environment will be considered as an asset.
- Background in a Telecommunication environment will be considered an asset
- College/University degree or demonstrate equivalent professional development
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Organizational skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CRM user
- Comfortable with deadlines
- Time management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solver
