The Facility Attendants provide support in all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness in all areas of the property, while also assisting maintenance in small tasks such as resetting a TV, changing a lightbulb, etc. The Facility Attendant is also responsible for Providing superior guest service, assisting with inter-departmental communications, and compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the appearance of the public areas of the hotel
- Deep clean assigned areas as requested, including stain removal on upholstery in rooms as is needed.
- Assist Front Desk staff with maintenance of complimentary hotel lobby functions including the coffee service and nightly concierge events.
- Assist Maintenance with tasks including, but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting issues with battery powered door locks using handheld tool, changing batteries when necessary.
- unclogging bathroom sinks using plastic snake tool, removing P-TRAP when necessary, reporting any unresolved issues to management.
- plunging toilets, replacing or tightening toilet seats when necessary.
- resetting televisions and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- replacing lightbulbs and ballasts when necessary. Learning to identify the difference between a lightbulb in need of repair, and a ballast in need of replacement.
- monitoring pool chemicals and identifying when corrections to levels need to be made.
- Replacing caulking and preventative maintenance tasks as is necessary.
