LHH has partnered with a great firm seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their legal team. This role supports attorneys in all phases of litigation and requires a strong understanding of California court procedures, including electronic filing (eFiling) and case management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and file legal documents in California state and federal courts, including through eFiling platforms.

  • Manage case files, discovery materials, and document production throughout the litigation lifecycle.

  • Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.

  • Maintain and track litigation calendars, court deadlines, and hearing schedules.

  • Coordinate with court personnel, clients, and opposing counsel.

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in California.

  • Strong knowledge of California court rules and procedures, including eFiling systems (e.g., One Legal, File & ServeXpress).

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

Job Details:

  • Direct Hire

  • Hybrid- 2 days remote

  • Pay: $70,000 - $80,000

  • This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $70,000 to $80,000 per year and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
