Salary: $81,000 – $116,500/year | Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance (case by case)

Overview

We are hiring an experienced RN Manager for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to lead a team of 50+ FTEs. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing daily operations, staffing, and clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate has recent acute care charge nurse or leadership experience in telemetry, stepdown, or critical care, and is ready to advance into a high-impact management role in a growing coastal community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations, staffing, and patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.

  • Monitor outcomes and hold staff accountable for quality and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to improve care.

  • Mentor, coach, and support staff development to promote engagement and excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Florida RN license or Compact Licensure.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Current BLS (within 30 days of hire).

  • Current ACLS (within 30 days of hire).

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of full-time Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Nursing Management experience.

  • At least 3 years of recent acute care charge nurse experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or Critical Care.

Preferred:

  • BSN or higher degree in Nursing.

  • Leadership experience in Progressive Care or Critical Care settings.
