Paralegal


Position Overview


Amphenol is looking to hire two paralegals to support its Corporate Legal Team located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Both roles are expected to be in-office (on average) 4 days per week and remote 1 day per week (usually Friday). The ability to anticipate, organize and summarize a high level of sensitive information is critical. Must be a self-starter who demonstrates flexibility, resourcefulness and has the ability to work independently, as well as under pressure in a team environment. A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism plus attention to detail is required for someone to be successful.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

· Role #1: Litigation & Compliance Support:


o Maintain a comprehensive summary of active cases.

o Track legal updates, assist with interrogatory responses and manage case dismissals.

o Support electronic filing and document organization.

o Assist with discovery-related tasks.

o Update and maintain legal compliance manuals.

o Conduct and document annual compliance certifications.

o Maintain training database to ensure accurate training records.

o Collaborate with other internal teams on legal issues and compliance needs.

o Handle other duties as may be assigned from time to time.


· Role #2: Acquisition Support:


o Assist in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining closing binders and transaction documents.

o Coordinate the execution, collection and filing of post-closing documents across multiple jurisdictions.

o Track and manage key post-merger obligations, including regulatory filings, corporate governance updates and contractual deliverables.

o Support integration activities by maintaining accurate legal entity records, organizational charts and subsidiary governance documents.

o Liaise with internal teams (finance, HR, tax, compliance) and outside counsel to ensure timely completion of post-closing matters.

o Monitor and update closing checklists, flagging outstanding items and ensuring deadlines are met.

o Assist with due diligence follow-up and ongoing compliance related to the transaction.


Experience & Soft Skill Requirements


· College degree strongly preferred. Prior paralegal experience preferred.

· Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office tools and MS Access, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

· Excellent interpersonal, organization, multi-tasking, oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate flexibility, initiative, good judgment, resourcefulness, sense of urgency, and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.

· Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail, results-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

· Must be able to provide timely, high-quality and accurate work product.

· Ability to occasionally work overtime on short notice.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
