Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and repairs that ensure our cutting-edge systems deliver maximum performance.
Element Logic is looking for a Service Technician with strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll perform maintenance duties at client sites, inspect and repair machinery, and create clear reports based on your findings. You’ll collaborate with remote support teams, train operators, and help solve complex mechanical issues—keeping our automation solutions reliable and efficient.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas.
- Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
- Provide training on the maintenance and operations of the equipment.
- Work with remote support teams to open tickets related to support and warranty.
- Travel to the US for trainings and meetings as required.

Requirements:
Competence Areas:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery or other related fields.
- Education: Completion of a post-secondary program in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs and CMMS.
- Good understating of logistics processes.
- Mechanical/conveyor knowledge.
- Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Possesses the basic knowledge and skill set required for troubleshooting and repairs.
Personal Characteristics:
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to solve mechanical problems.
- Keeping an organized daily log of all machine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborating with other technicians to solve complex mechanical issues.
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report on work completed and collaborate effectively with a team.
